June ends today, and I think we have met the millennium.
When I was born, the automobile was a new invention. The railroad had just completed a track across America, and radio and newspapers were how we ‘got the news’.

I have a niece (my sister’s daughter) who is the personification of INNOCENCE DOING FINITE HARM (which we call ‘evil’)…
Her name is Sarina Sue. She was a beautiful, spiritual, dissonant little girl, after being a kind of cherub with horns as a child.
When she and her girl friend were gang raped in a local park, as and by young teens - her only question was –

SERENDIPITY IS ALWAYS FILLED WITH LIFE
Once, when I was a young attorney in a downtown law firm I was on the street when a parade was passing by. I pressed my way to the front of the onlookers standing alongside the parade route and found myself right behind, and very close to a young attractive woman. We watched the parade ‘together’ – me behind her and making frequent physical contact – pleasurable and not resisted at all in front or back.
Just as the parade was ending (no pun) a lawyer friend of mine younger even than me arrived and said, -“Oh, Robert, I’d like you to meet my wife”- he introduced me to the lovely lady just in front of me.
On another occasion during the same time period, I was on the street because a woman attorney friend/adversary of mine phoned me at my office and said. “Are you busy right now?” For her, always “No,” so she said “I am looking out my office window right now and they are filming a Hollywood movie down below in the atrium of the underground shopping mall. I thought you might want to come over.”
I did, and while I was standing in the crowd watching an artistic type came over and said to me, “Are you with us?” To which I replied, in all honesty, “No.”
The director of the film then said to me, “if you would like to be, come to the Hilton Hotel in the morning at 6:00 am, and if you have a beret, bring it!” Without pausing he moved back to where Katherine Ross was ready for a ‘take.’
The next morning I was at the Hilton wearing my beret purchased in Paris on a recent trip. Short story long – that day I shot a scene with Sean Connery at the Albuquerque International Airport – which was being used by the film company as a Paris airport. When the footage actually appeared in the movie I received a check in payment for my performance.
However, I consider the whole experience an failed experiment as a “Mouthpiece.” Because it was not a speaking role, I was not able to become a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Apropos to many of my adventures 'on the street' The Title of the film was "WRONG IS RIGHT"

EXPERIENCE(s) JOURNAL
Tonight, while sleeping, I experienced a group of travelers together in some place. There was a commonality of purpose, and a friendly camaraderie.
The atmosphere was that of a cruise where no one had any fear of the others, and there was an absence of selfish concerns or ‘hidden agenda’ withholds.
People were milling around and in circulation, and were housed in cabins of from two to four per cabin.
I was staying in a cabin with a vibrant, unthreatening man and wife. We were just beginning to become acquainted when on the evening of the third or fourth day of our sojourn, as we were preparing for bed, the woman spoke to me while sitting on the edge of her bed while her husband was in the bathroom. “Ed thinks that we should all be sleeping together", she said, quietly. It was a surprising, but not alarming remark.
I replied that such an idea was not at all repellent to me, but suggested a kind of experience that was not anywhere in my history, and so caused me pause.
As we continued to chat quietly, Ed came into the sleeping room with his usual air of confidence. The woman, who I prefer to call Jane, said to him, Robert is considering our suggestion.
Ed said to me enthusiastically, “Good.”
We were all in our night clothes, and he sat down on their bed to continue our conversation.

Fear As Motivator - An Idea Whose Days Are Numbered
It would be enlightening for human kind to consider the extent to which marriage is motivated by fear.
Marriage is the root of evolution and preservation of the species.
Fear is at the base of the famous “fight or flight” decision.
The so-called fear factor clearly has some relevance in the defense of individuals, family, countries, ideals, property and anything else worth defending.
It is estimated by the media that approximately one third of the population of Cairo paid heed on Thursday to a speech by President Obama, delivered at a University in Cairo.
I saw and heard the address on television from my home in Honolulu. I think that it is the most important speech of my lifetime, by any head of state, and possibly one of the most important in human history.
Obviously, it was made possible in part by human history, but I doubt that any other person living today could have made that speech today with the effectiveness and validity provided by President Obama.
On the same day, Rush Limbaugh, American commentator, stated publicly from the forum of his daily ‘talk show’ in the United States that if the terrorist organizations of the world want to destroy the United States as it is known today they will have to hurry, because if they don’t President Obama will beat them to it.
This came in one of Limbaugh’s uniquely colorful, ignorant, and irresponsible free speech ‘demonstrations’.
It was another historic day on earth…
