Who among us understands understanding?

I HAVE NEVER REALLY FULLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I AM DOING


(not even for a moment). Since the Alzheimer’s diagnosis and daily medication (about five years ago) I DO understand better, however.



Not because understanding seems less important, but actually because of increased understanding.

This is due to a broader (more cosmic) perception and perspective. The effect is both intellectual (despite some memory loss) and psychological.

It is like Alzheimer’s is preparing me to ‘pass away.’ . . .
