Scientists and Politicians (also Preachers and Salespeople) look for the lowest common denominator - to make their jobs easier.
Common knowledge is usually misleading (I imagine that why it’s called ‘Common- knowledge’)
A ‘conglomeration’ is a ‘mess’ (i.e. a mixture of things that don’t mix).
The Best, if not the Only, example of a conglomeration that can be considered GOOD is: A Plate of S P A G H E T T I !
